Grow with Love

Hello my loyal readers! I am having a bit of time & identity crisis on my blog. {LOL} I know crafts are my thing, but I've been slacking lately. I need more days in the week to get stuff done. So thanks for sticking by me. Now on the regular scheduled post...

Nick & I have started our garden this year. We bought a ton of seeds, and got some planted. I have to get some more greenhouse kits to grow the rest. Here's what it looks like so far.

Nothing fancy so far, and nothing sprouted yet. I figure it will take a bit. We just did it yesterday, and mostly I did it. Nick didn't like that the seeds were so small. So far we have planted: tomatoes, spinach, arugula, carrots, moss rose, and phlox. He preferred to dig up the yard. He did help me with some other seeds.
We got him the gardening bag on the right, the red and blue one. It came with the tools, seeds, pods, and stickers. That one came with squash and pumpkin seeds, which are bigger, so Nick liked those. He also got a kick out of putting the Popsicle sticks in the rows. He had a blast! We will be planting more soon, and hopefully have some sprouts.

Speaking of house stuff, I got a new apron!! I love vintage aprons, and just the whole idea really. It makes me think of 50's housewives, and my Granny.
Please excuse the photo, Nick took it. Not bad for a 3 year old, I say. I got this lovely apron from The Millers House. It's so awesome, and reminds me of my Granny. She used to wear a dress and an apron everyday. Alicia, the owner of The Miller's House, is super sweet and I recommend her shop! She loved that it was a sunny apron, and that it was going to sunny Texas.

That's all for this week! I am off to try to get some stuff done. I had hoped to get caught up on my work for my Bible Study class, but it doesn't look promising tonight. What have y'all been up to? Done any gardening or spring cleaning??
