My Handmade Gift Exchange Projects

I signed up for the Handmade Gift Exchange hosted by the lovely Linda at Craftaholics Anonymous, a little while back. My partner was this sweetheart named Sarah, and she has an adorable daughter named Sophie. Sophie loves Dora the Explorer, and most especially Swiper. So I thought I'd make her a shirt with Swiper and her name on it.

The shirt is really easy to do. You use a photo editing program to make your image, then mirror the image, and print on iron on transfer paper. I forgot when making my dad's shirt, and had to buy a whole new shirt. The hair bows, were somewhat easy themselves. I didn't take pictures while I was working on these projects, because I forgot. Whoops!

Sarah said Sophie loved them, and tried to rip off her shirt to put this one on when she got the mail. How cute! LOL!

Nick loves the fire truck shirt. Sarah sewed the fire truck on there. He calls it his Fireman Sam shirt! He insisted that I take a picture of his underwear as well. Silly kid! He's already wore it a million times since we got it.

So that's some of what we've been up to. I can't wait for the next Handmade Gift Exchange in November. I will be joining in again!
