Craft: Treat Jar

I've seen some cute treat jars and many call them candy jars. Our's is a treat jar because my son is in his Terrible 2's. In order to get a treat, he must do something nice.

Materials we used:
-An old plastic jar
- 2 pages of scrapbook paper [not my best idea, but we made it work]
- craft glue
- pom poms
- glitter stickers
- ribbon

So I covered the jar with the green scrabook paper, and it wasn't an easy task lol. I got it to stick though. There was some extra space at the top by the lid, so I used more craft glue and covered that with pom poms. I cut out a yellow circle with the scrapbook paper and glue it on top of the lid. Then I added my ribbon, that I got for $.33 at Hobby Lobby! It's got cute robots, very boyish and perfect. Then I added my glitter stickers.

I put some safety pop suckers that I scored at Walgreens [had been looking everywhere for them] and now we have our treat jar. My son helped but the suckers in, so he got his first treat for being nice. It's not the craftiness thing I've done, but I like it. Let me know what you think.
