My inspiration for this craft came from Sandpaper Letter Set & Felt Flash Cards Memory Game.
I picked up some small wooden discs from the craft store for $.99
It looks like a dalmatian threw up, but I painted those wooden discs black lol. I painted both sides and the edges. Then I sprayed it with a glossy seal.
I also picked up these awesome alphabet circles at the craft store. The package came with 52 letter for $1.99. The also have glue dots on the back, double score! So obviously, I just stuck them on my painted wooden discs as centered as I could.
Here is my finished product! We have the whole alphabet, and I decided to be cute and spell out Nick's name for this photo. I plan on using these to help Nick with the alphabet and make a game of it. He already likes to sing his ABC's, so I'm sure he'll have a blast with this. I'd love to know if you give this a try or something similar.
So total I spent $4 for this craft. Compare that to $16-$25 to buy something similar.
EDIT
We had a boo boo with those wonderful glue dots that game on the circle alpha's. My son went to play with his game Momma made him, and the alpha fell off :/ So I headed for the Gorilla Glue.
I easily popped off the alpha's and put a small dot of Gorilla Glue on it. I did these for all the letters.
